Unpaid Leaves (वेतन रहित छुट्टियां):
Leaves taken beyond your allocated Sick Leave (SL), Casual Leave (CL), or Earned Leave (PL) quota. These result in a direct deduction from your salary.

Per Day Salary = Monthly Salary / Days in Month
Deduction = Per Day Salary × Unpaid Leaves

Always use paid leaves (CL/PL) first. If you anticipate a long absence, discuss "Loss of Pay" (LOP) implications with HR beforehand.
Weekend Policy
Beware of the "Sandwich Rule" in some companies: if you take leave on Friday AND Monday, the weekend (Sat/Sun) might also be counted as leaves.
